These terms govern your use of the Dandini iOS app and the dandini.app website (the "Service"), provided by Arda Erem Karagöz (AEK Studio) ("we", "the provider"). By using the Service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
Dandini generates personalized, narrated stories for children using artificial intelligence. Content (text, images, narration) is produced automatically by AI. We may change, update, or discontinue the Service at any time.
Who can use it
The Service is for parents/guardians. An adult over 18 sets up and manages the app; the adult enters the child's information. The app requires no traditional account (email/password); your data is processed under an anonymous identifier tied to your device. You are responsible for the security of your device and data.
Subscriptions, credits and payment
Some features are paid. Story generation runs on "credits"; we also offer auto-renewing subscriptions (weekly, monthly, yearly).
- All purchases are made through the App Store; the fee is charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation.
- A subscription auto-renews at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
- Refunds are subject to Apple. For App Store purchases we cannot issue refunds directly; you must request a refund from Apple.
- Credits are used only for in-app story generation, are non-refundable in cash and non-transferable.
AI content and parental supervision
Stories, images and narration are generated by AI "as is." AI may occasionally produce unexpected, inaccurate or age-inappropriate output. Content is for entertainment and educational purposes; it is not professional pedagogical, psychological or medical advice. A parent should review content before sharing it with their child. You can report content you find unsuitable to [email protected].
Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to generate unlawful or harmful content, to infringe others' rights, to misuse or reverse-engineer the system, or to breach its security. Such use may result in your access being restricted.
Intellectual property
The app, the Dandi character, the brand and all content belong to AEK Studio. You are granted a limited, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use. You may use and share the stories generated for you for personal purposes.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we give no warranties, express or implied, and do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages such as lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. In any case, our total liability arising out of these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or a reasonable minimum amount if you paid nothing). This limit does not affect liability for death or personal injury, willful misconduct or gross negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.
Indemnification
You agree to hold us and our partners harmless against claims arising from your use of the Service in breach of these terms or the law.
Apple App Store terms
To the extent you obtain the app from the Apple App Store: Apple has no maintenance/support obligation; if the app fails to conform to a warranty, Apple may refund the price (if any) and has no further obligation; Apple is not responsible for claims relating to product liability, consumer law, or intellectual-property infringement. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a country under a U.S. embargo and are not on any prohibited-party list.
Termination
We may restrict or terminate your access if you breach these terms or when necessary to protect the Service. You may stop using it at any time. The payment, intellectual-property, liability and indemnification provisions survive termination.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll announce material changes via the app or site; the current version is always on this page. Continued use means you accept the current terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are subject to the courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul (Çağlayan). Your mandatory consumer rights are reserved.
